They’re commonly used to smooth expression lines, soften existing wrinkles, and help prevent deeper lines from forming over time. At our San Antonio med spa, treatment is tailored to your anatomy, goals, and desired level of movement.

- Treatment: Small amounts of Botox or Dysport are precisely injected into targeted muscles. Most appointments take less than 30 minutes.

Botox FAQS
What's the difference between Botox® and Dysport®?
Both treatments work similarly to relax targeted muscles and soften expression lines. Your provider will recommend the option that’s best suited to your goals, anatomy, and treatment areas.
How do I know if I need Botox or filler?
Botox and Dysport address wrinkles caused by muscle movement, while filler restores lost volume and enhances facial contours. Many clients benefit from a combination of both treatments.
What is preventative Botox, and am I a candidate?
Preventative Botox – sometimes called “baby Botox” – refers to starting treatment before lines become permanently etched into the skin. By softening repetitive muscle movement early, you can slow the development of deeper wrinkles over time. Many clients in their mid-20s and 30s choose this approach, and treatment can be tailored to use smaller amounts for a subtler, more natural result.
Can Botox be used for anything besides wrinkles?
Botox and Dysport may also be used for concerns such as excessive sweating, teeth grinding, jaw tension, neck bands, and lip flips.
When should I schedule Botox before a wedding, vacation, or special event?
We generally recommend scheduling treatment at least 2 weeks before an important event to allow full results to develop.
